Cuttack: All India Exhibition Bus Campaign ‘Mera Bharat Swarnim Bharat’ organised by Youth Wing was received with high novelty and grandeur on 27th September at Silver City Cuttack.

Around 200 brothers and sisters with Kalas, Jhanda, placards and band greeted the campaigners at Judicial Academy Chowk and walked with them around 4 Kms upto the Jhanjirimangala Centre. Throughout the day programmes were organised at different schools and colleges of the city. In the evening a public program was organised at Prabhu Samarpan Bhawan, Jhanjirimangala centre. Bro. G.V.V. Sarma, IAS, Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha was the chief guest and Prof. Dr. Babaji Charan Patnaik, Editor, The Jhankar & Former Registrar, Jagannath Sankrit University was the guest of honour. Campaign In-charge, BK Arpita spoke on the topic “Discover the Hero Within”, BK Reshma conducted mass meditation. BK Amardeep shared his experience and Bk Jignesh read the oath for all to recite. BK Avnish Bhai made the audience aware about the aim and object of the campaign. A great service is being done through the Bus Campaign.

On the occasion of 12th Convocation of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University Rajyogini Dr. Kamlesh Didi ji , Director Cuttack Subzone awarded by Doctorate Degree from Honorable president of india Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji for her Social service that she was  Born on January 17, 1940, in Firozabad, ‘Uttar Pradesh, to Prayagdas Gupta and Kalabati Gupta, she have dedicated her fife to spreading spiritualism and social service.

At the age of 27, she joined Brahma Kurnaris and realized the importance of Rajyoga. In 1973, she came to Odisha and established the first Brahmakumari Centre in Cuttack With a strong desire to promote spiritual messages, she tirelessly worked towards establishing Brahma Kumari centres at various locations throughout the state. Today, her efforts have resulted in the centres having 1,50,000 Brahma Kumars and Kumaris, along with 1,050 highly educated surrendered sisters in Odisha.

Aside from her spiritual pursuits, she have been actively involved in social activities such as the Bharat Ekta Yuba Yatra, Saswat Yogi Agricultural Awareness Campaign, Peace March, organization of blood donation and health check-up camps, and helping flood and cyclone affected persons. She have also organized the Viswa Nabanirman spiritual congregation, among other activities. Her tireless work has been recognized by many organizations such as Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Indian Medical Association, Central Red Cross Brood Bank and Tapovan, who have felicitated she for her contributions.

It is with great honour that Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University bestows upon Dr. Kamlesh Didi ji, the Degree of Doctor of Literature (Honoris Causa) in recognition of her invaluable contributions to the field of spiritualism and social service.
